6-26-09.....Matt's win streak ends at 6 , finishing 3rd friday night. Friday night Matt started 5th in the 1st heat race and finished 3rd which would give him a 5th place starting spot in the feature. The car was good in the heat race just not great. We struggled with a loose condition off the 4th corner all night. For the feature we made an adjustment to the shock pressures to help with the loose problem. At the drop of the green it appeared we made the correct changes as Matt quickly moved into the 2nd spot and closed to within a few feet of the leader, but by the 1/2 way point of the race the problem started to come back. Matt Stayed in the leaders shadow until the last 2 laps. With the car getting worse with each lap Jesse Miller was able to get by Matt with 2 laps remaining. all in all still a good run for Matt. 6-20-09....Matt & the family attended his cousins wedding on Saturday night. It was a very beautiful ceremony and a great time was had by all in attendance. It gave us time to catch up with old friends and family that we have not seen in awhile. We wish a lifetime of happiness to the new " Mr.& Mrs. Mike Reynolds "   

6-19-09...Matt keeps his win streak alive with win #6 of the year. Matt is really in a groove right now and is just getting better every week. Matt started last in the heat race and finished 1st. Starting on the pole for the feature Matt cruised to his 6th win in 10 starts this year. At the half-way point of the season Matt has increased his point lead to 310 over 2nd place and posted his fastest lap of the season @ 12.07     

6-12-09...Matt picks up his 5th win of the year @ Selinsgrove... Things are really clicking for Team MCR right now. A week off due to rain hasn't slowed Matt down at all. The team has hit on a torsion bar & shock package that has the car on a rail. Matt was fast out of the trailer and we made no adjustments all night that saw us get almost 3/10ths quicker as the night went on. Matt won both the heat race and feature for his 5th overall and 4th in a row. Nearing the 1/2 way point of the season, Matt has increased his points lead to 280 over 2nd place 

6-5-09......Heavy rains cancel racing @ Selinsgrove Speedway

5-29-09...Matt makes it 4 in a row to get his 4th win of the year !!! Matt started 5th in his heat race and finished 2nd to the 55e of Eric Leonard. We were good in the heat race but felt we could get better with the right changes to keep up with the changing track conditions. We made a minor chassis setup change and decided on a harder RR tire for the feature. Matt was able to get the lead   going into the 1st turn and held a 4 car lead the entire race to pickup win #4 for the season. Thank You for checking in on Matt's season. 

5-22-09...Matt gets back to back wins for his 3rd win of the year ! The night did not start out good as Matt drew pill number 33 which put him in last for his heat race. Things got no better during the race as we had the car way to loose. Matt was trying to handle a car that had a bad 4 wheel drift that eventually got the best of him and saw Matt spin off the track with 3 laps to go. After restarting at the tail of the field Matt ended up 5th. The team made a few key setup changes for the feature with the help of Todd Hoover. ( special thanks to Todd for all his help this season getting us going in the right direction ). In the feature the car handled to perfection with the new setup and Matt took the lead on the 8th lap and lead the rest of the way to earn win #3 for the year. 5-16-09.....Matt gets his 2nd win of the season ! Matt drew a low number that saw him start outside of the front row for his heat race. Matt jumped to the lead at the green and took the win. Starting 1st in the feature Matt opened up a straight away lead before seeing the caution fly with 2 laps to go for a spinning car in turn two. This wiped out a comfortable lead and tightened the field for a 2 lap shootout. Matt was able to get a good start and opened a 4 car lead over the last 2 laps to pickup his 2nd win of the year. 5-8-09....This week had us dodging rain drops most of the night until mother nature finally won! Matt finished 2nd in his heat race. Before the features could get started the rains came and wiped out the rest of the nights events. Per track rules Matt will be credited with 2nd place points for the night with no make-up feature race. 

5-1-09......Matt Heads to victory lane !!! In his 4th race out Matt had a dominating performance. Starting last in the heat race Matt brought the car home in 2nd place. Starting outside front row Matt took the lead on the backstretch of the 1st lap and never looked back, taking the win in a non-stop race by 4.5 seconds over 2nd place.   

4-24-09....Matt & the MCR team almost pulled off the win ! Matt run 2nd in the heat race which put him outside front row for the feature. Matt took the lead of the feature at the drop of the green and led the first 12 laps, unfortunately while entering the 3rd turn a lapped car slid up in front of Matt forcing him to hit the brakes. It forced Matt to downshift to get going again which allowed the 2nd place car to slip past Matt and take the win. Matt was dis-appointed but had a good night for his 3rd time out.    

4-17-09....2nd race for Matt and the MCR team saw big improvements in Matt's handling of the car and hitting his shift points more consistently. It showed in the results as Matt finished 3rd again but this time he was running with the leaders. 

4-10-09....It was opening night for Matt at Selinsgrove Raceway Park. We will be calling SRP our home track for the 2009 season. With a new engine package and Matt having to learn to shift the transmission during the race we showed up with modest goals. Our first night was a good night. Matt struggled with the shifting part all night as he tried to get a feel of when to upshift  & down shift. We ended up a distant 3rd in the feature.
