The start of the 2nd half of the season had Matt park the car in victory lane for the 2nd time this season. The mid-season break gave the team time to re-group and take a step back and get things on track again. With a fresh built engine Matt was fast right out of the trailer and got quicker everytime he hit the track. Matt wired the field for his 2nd win !

MCR Racing is putting on the finishing touches on Matt's new RTS Chassis that he will debut at Trail-ways Speedway on Aug. 7th. The car is at SC Signs & Designs getting the graphics done and we look forward to Matt's move up to the 270 class.

Severe thunderstorms and high winds cause flooding and power outages in the Selinsgrove area forcing Raceway Park to cancel the scheduled events for Friday the 16th. See everyone next friday !

Matt had a solid 4th place run friday night as Selinsgrove had new competitors from Lanco Speedway venture up to Selinsgrove Raceway Park for friday nights race. With the largest field of cars yet this season Matt started last in heat race #2 and drove a great race to finish 2nd, which gave him a 4th place starting spot for the feature. The track slicked off by feature time and there was not much passing in the feature. The top 5 starting spots would not change through out the race and ended up the same way they started. Matt did gain 10 points in the championship race and is now only 10 markers out of the lead.
