Matt & the team are still struggling to get ahold of the new track surface at our home track. Matt was able to get the car to a 3rd place finish in the feature. The team will keep working hard on getting the car up to speed. Hope to see everyone at the track !

Matt picked up his third 2nd place finish of the season on Friday night.Starting 5th in the heat race Matt finished 3rd. With a 3rd starting spot for the feature Matt was able to get to 2nd by the end of the race. The team is a little frustrated with not parking the car in the winners circle yet,but will keep working hard until we find the combination that will get us that final spot. On the good news side, all the consistent good runs have moved Matt to within 10 points of the lead of the Championship Chase. Thanks for checking up on Matt!

Matt makes a last lap move to pickup a solid 2nd place run after fighting electrical problems in his heat race. Matt started 5th in his heat race but had what turned out to be electrical problems that saw him drop out of the heat race. Luckily we were able to find the cause ( a bad ignition coil ) and make repairs in time for the feature. Unfortunatly with the top competition starting on the front row there is little chance to run them down before the race ends. Matt had a great run to bring the car home in 2nd after starting in the back for the feature. Congradulation to Mason Peters and his dad Ray on the win ! Ray & Mason are some of the nicest racers we have met and make racing FUN!! The good run moved Matt into 2nd place in the points just 30 points behind the leader. Thank You for checking in on Matt.

Matt & Team MCR suffered it's 1st DNF of the season. Matt had a 2nd place finish in the heat race which gave him a front row starting spot for the feature but it was apparent something was wrong by the 2nd lap as Matt was steadily slowing each lap. Turned out we we're sticking a piston. We'll get it fixed and be ready for next week. Thanks for checking in on Matt.
